Must win game on so many levels for the Canucks

- going down 2-0 in a series is not like going down 2-0 in a game. There is no come back for the Canucks
- 1-9 in their last 10 home playoff games is something to be ashamed of with this core being part of that
- I cannot handle the "humility" of the flames fans being out of the playoffs as long as they have being so fraking smug (present company excluded)
- Higgins, burrows, Hamhuis, bieksa and the Sedins will need to reevaluate their position with the Canucks should they go down poorly.
- this is a wide open field for a good run. Don't fucking blow it
- I am not pleased
- I do not have geico
- I'm not checking spelling (ok I checked spelling)
- I bought a lot of beer for a long series. I do not wish to drink it all in one night should the unthinkable happen

I'll be honest, I'm worried about tonight's game, I could easily see a 5-1 blowout for the Canucks tonight.

If we get the same effort mistake free and Hiller cools a bit I can see it.

Only thing is

It's the Canucks they have no consistency, they are never mistake free and Hiller is a ? Always

I have no idea what we will see tonight.

Flames won't be as hungry tonight because they won game 1, they might cut Wideman and Russell's ice time as a result (which I think is smart), but on the flip side, more time to guys like Schlemko and Potter (which is scary).

They got a game in Vancouver, everyone knows how fragile mentally this team is I can see Calgary being hungrier to go home up 2. I think we see a better flames team tonight. At least in the first 10 mins. I also think flames get up by 2 in this game to start.

I mean, it's not like the Canucks have 30 extra years of history on them and zero more Cups.

Well I never saw the Canadians beat the Soviets in 72 but I know it happened and therefore we're better than everyone.

I realize I'm dating myself, but I stayed home from school to watch game 8. I know some schools wheeled tvs into the gym so that the entire student body could watch game 8.

Our school wheeled TVs in in 2002 for Canada-Belarus. Not quite as dramatic.

Back to tonight's game, the big line for Calgary needs to play better than they did in game 1, and I expect to see Vrbata back with the Sedin boys tonight and Burrows back on the second line with Bonino and Higgins.
