Good game Bizz, your team looked A little flat but they def have something to work with. Whats up with Ward, night off?

yeah, nothing more than that. Been playing Ward even on both nights of back to backs, and he's seen a lot of rubber. just time for a break.

A little flat, yeah.

Flyers defense was on though, gave them nothing, couldn't get shots off... and that includes the forwards.

Sorry Biz, but I didn't see one of your boys really laying it out tonight.

Granted, I didn't see the whole game and we didn't look much better, but maaaan....there is no flow to their game right now.

hm.. maybe i'm sicker than i thought.. i thought both teams looked pretty good tonight.. none of the goals were dreadful mistakes by anyone.. i guess there were a good bit of turnovers through the neutral zone, but i thought that was more of a testament to good defensive play

bizz i haven't watched the canes at all, or read any of this thread.. but i thought they looked pretty good tonight.. am i wrong in saying that?

also wanted to get your thoughts on mcbain.. his name was called more than anyone's tonight i think (aside from your announcers love affair with skinner haha).. never heard of the guy but he seems like your number 1 dman (him or pitkanen).. i've heard of everyone else on the team, just wondering why i dont know him

pretty high hopes for McBain as an offensive d-man similar to Pitkanen.
He came up as a rookie late last year (i think he's still considered a rookie this year, would have to look.. shit, we've go 5 rookies on the roster this year, he's probably one of them) and tore it up and almost a point per game pace.
Hopefully he can get that magic back, but he's still young, he'll get there.
I'm sure they told him to focus on his defensive game this year, and let it fire when he can.
Should be a staple on the PP point for years to come.

he's now my 3 yr olds favorite player...
but probably because he looks like he could be in his class at daycare

yeah, no doubt, believe the hype
this is going to be a growing year for him, he's gonna get some bruises, still just barely 18... but he is definitely the real deal. With Brind'Amour and Francis tutoring him, should be on the right path.
