tell me if this makes sense

if you have to find drive from someone elses loss even if its your countries you probably already lost, on the flip side if you cant find inspiration from someone elses win like yesterday you probably dont have much feeling in you.

I know you guys come to rely on my wise and astute comments during games. Since my boss had this odd idea I should work today I won't be around to watch the game or comment. So here are a few in advance, could someone post them during the game for me?

Wow. what a stop.

Pretty pass.

That's going to leave a mark,

It burns when I pee sitting down, standing up - no burning!

That was a bad call!

No, that one belongs to BlueWolf

For some reason my state sport is jousting. Yeah, its huge here.

I miss the lazy Saturday afternoons at the Jousting pitch, watching little leaguers go after each other with spears while riding St Bernards. It's always a huge day in a young man's life when he graduates to a Shetland Pony.

Oh, I am wearing my Jim Craig jersey today. It is a big hit at work.

Good, Who is stepping in?

You DO realize that Martin has been playing solid all tournament, right? It could be slightly shaded glasses, but he's never looked out of place. My guess is that Faulk becomes the 7th butt stuck to the bench guy and Carlson sees more minutes than he's been seeing.

EDIT: Just saw your second post. I think that Martin's presence is much more valuable than Faulk's, but I hope he does something to change that mindset.

Agreed with Pix, I don't think you're going to see much of Justin Faulk, not now in this big of a situation - John Carlson will get more time and it might not be a bad thing, but to say Paul Martin being out is good, that's just not true

I defended him in my next post, glad you saw it lol

I understand, but I guess this is just me trusting Suter and McDonagh picking up more minutes against a bigger and faster Canadian team. We all know they will see many minutes today, going up against, practically 4 first lines.

Mac has been phenomenal all tourny, very, very impressed by him. Suter...meh. He's played big minutes so it's easier to spot mistakes I suppose. He's underwhelmed me to this point. You're right though, those two are getting huge minutes, no doubt.
