Beating Canada is no easy task.

Funny though because Canada is considered the underdogs in this tourny.

I guess it's all about expectations...I doubt you would see that much jubilation if Canada would have won the shootout (more like relief)

Olivier Roy was awful in this game.

Sloppy D didn't help but I'd like to see Visantin in the Qs at least.

How did Carter Ashton make this Canadian team? He's big, but Charmin soft and he's not a good skater and doesn't appear to have a good set of hands.

LOL. I said this almost to a tee during the game.

Minus of course the trademark Dash wit and eloquence, of course.

Don't tell that to Tri-City fans. They just traded a first a third and 2 prospects to get him a week or so ago!

For a neutral fan, this game was fun to watch. Too bad it came down to a shootout, but not a whole lot you can do about that. If the US wins tonight, it looks like we'd get the US/Canada matchup in the semis instead of the championship. It'll be interesting.

The bad part about the US getting the cupcake pool is that they'll have to beat both Canada and Sweden to win (assuming no major upsets). No easy task. Gotta take care of business first against Switzerland tonight. Looking forward to it.

Why isn't Visinten playing in goal for Canada? Roy hasn't impressed me at all.

I have a question about Calvin De Haan. Don't get me wrong I like the kid & think he's got a lot of poise & a great first pass but I'm concerned about his size. It looks like he needs to add at least 20 pounds of muscle. I know he had shoulder surgery last year but does he ever shoot a slapshot? Any thoughts would be appreciated??
