I moved on when I accepted the fact the Mighty Huskers will not be Werld beaters every year

I am just a Husker fan

when they win --I am happy
when they loose --I feel bad for them

I'm just pissed mainly because they looked like a 2007 Callahan / Cosgrove coached team last night.

RA we have prolly been thru a lot of games together in different areas

and we still stand on the huskers sideline ---this is a good thaang sir

As fans we vocally demanded better from Devaney in 67/68, and then from Osborne in the late 70's and once again in the late 80's/early 90's.
They came through.

Pelini's got 10 wins after replacing offensive and defensive coordinators in 2 years time. It's pretty obvious what needs to be done to get to the next level. January 2nd thru August 2013 will be interesting. All we can do is watch.

Hell it's gonna be an interesting 4 weeks preparing for Georgia.

Let's go

Looking back now to how Osborne lost badly to OU a few times, doesn't compare with how badly Pelini is losing some games. When a team with 5 losses is scoring in the 70s against us, changes are certainly warranted.

College football is not the same, talent is more spread out due to scholly limits, facilities in college are on a level field...

Pelini will have his four losses and we will put it behind us and expect a championship team next year.
This is just the life of a Husker fan. Nothing we can do about it but forget as quickly as possible so we can expect more than possible next year.

I'm just gonna enjoy another New Years Day bowl game for now.

Huskers are 12.5 point underdogs so if/when they get trounced it shouldn't surprise anyone.

It's Nebraska football, I'm always N

Talent is still tilted towards the schools willing to spend the money to have the coaching staff that kids know will develop them. Saban, Miles, Meyer, Stoops, Kelly... will always have their choice of recruits while second tier coaches will have to work their asses off to get this talent. And there is a reason. What teams are always in the top 5/10? They have the staff to develop champions. Look what tCUM did with a 7-6 team at tOSU. Look what Saban did 2 years at Alabama.

Nebraska had excitement in the recruiting world for a short time but kids have quickly seen that he does not develop players as expected and there we have our limitations.

We won't get the talent to be a contender because we can't develop the talent to be contenders.

I understand Pelini is a good enough coach to keep his job but he is also a bad enough coach to not win championships.

HH kept saying it but we didn't want to see it. We did not belong in that game. If anything it killed any recruiting edge we may of had built with our comeback streak. Now we will go play Georgia and drop even further in the eyes of future talent.

I disagree. Nebraska has enough talent and ability to play Wisconsin close at least. A better coaching staff would have made a huge difference.

It's not talent guise.

It's coaching fundamentals, game prep, and strength & conditioning.

See Kansas St.

As CEO, Bo needs to take the bull by the horns and fix those glaring issues in the offseason.

Doug Coleman should be our LB coach..

The issue is both talent and coaching.. no way around it
