Culter is banged up and does throw the ball like crazy. We would have to keep forte in check. But this game could be winnable if everybody shows up.

3:05 pm CT Sun Dec 1 at SF
sigh divisional games. I got a bad feeling about this but...they did just lose...

3:25 pm CT Sun Dec 8 at ARI
I wouldn't be surprised if they are number 2 in the division by then

12:00 pm CT Sun Dec 15 NO
=lose unless they take this week off to rest players

12:00 pm CT Sun Dec 22 TB
no way in hell we lose this ._.

3:25 pm CT Sun Dec 29 at SEA
Should be resting, maybe starters only play one quarter?

Probably not. I say 2 maybe 3 wins at most which would put them at 6-10 or 7 and 9.

The two scenarios that benefit us the most are if we win all our remaining games to make the playoffs, which in a tough NFC would almost be a necessity, or if we are not making the playoffs, that we lose them all and get the highest possible draft pick. At this point it might be better to root for a Washington loss more than a Rams loss since they aren't doing so well either this year. With all these draft picks, sooner or later we're bound to stumble onto a bonafide superstar in the draft. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally.

I seriously doubt a playoff run is in the cards for us this year. Then again... I didn't think we'd win another game this season. Lol.

It's probably gonna be one hell of a roller-coaster ride from here on out, though. I'm just hoping for more ups, than downs.

Odds are against us making the playoffs, yet stranger things have happened. At this point I'd be happy with 6 or 7 wins, it beats getting 2 or 3 every year, at least they are enjoyable to watch again, " sometimes"

Chicago won't be a push over. Their OL is pretty darn good this year, so we won't be able to get consistent pressure with just 4 and play back in zone like we did this week. Still winnable at home, but its no gimme. I'd slightly favor them right now, because their backup QB is probably better than ours. If we win it will be a steady ball control game, and we'll need our RBs healthy. Their front 7 IIRC is pretty banged up.

I think this week was an aberration - we are getting better, but we aren't nearly that good. Everything broke right for us and they had a lot of major players not suiting up.

I'd like to see a couple of more wins to see how the rookies and 1st years come together. I don't think Clemens can win consistently in this league, though he's been better than I expected so far.

Really, 8-8 or 9-7 is our worse case scenario - odds are we still don't make the playoffs, and we lose a lot of positioning on the draft.

But I'd love to see the kids put together a streak and watch them grow up.

I think this is going to be an exciting team for some time to come.

Even at 8-8 or 9-7, not making the playoffs puts us no worse than #16 in the draft and at #16 if all of the WR's are gone, go ahead and select Clinton-Dix at that position. He would be worth it there, just not in the top 10.

That was my thought as well...I don't think they get over their inconsistency in one week...I think they are really building a good foundation for next season, but I don't see any way they threaten for a spot in this year's playoffs..

Agreed. I'm looking forward to a good draft next year and then make their run to the playoffs. If you recall from the old board I've said 2014 to make the playoffs since Fisher was hired.

As far as the rest year is concerned. I see MAYBE 2 wins against the Bears and Cardinals and a win against Tampa as the max.

There is little chance the Rams make the playoffs this season, but here's hoping.

IDK Silas. I like our chances and I think we may play better the second half of the season than we did the first.

Who Knows

I have no idea what is coming next! With a lot of teams with injured players the Rams could actually try to make a run only if Kroenick OK's it!

Bears should be without Tillman and Briggs. That makes their defense Julius Peppers and a bunch of dudes. If we want to be thinking of the Rams as improving then thats a pretty winable game. At least 50/50 although I agree that their offense isn't as bad as we are used to seeing the Bears offense.

There is a blueprint to beating the Niners. Im not sure this year's Rams team is tough enough but they've certainly proven it in the past.

At Arizona would probably completely eliminate the loser from the playoffs. Zona is a better team than the one we saw week 1. Probably a 50/50 game.

New Orleans is probably a loss. Good test for the defense.

Tampa Bay is probably a win but they aren't as bad as their record.

At Seattle....50/50 they are resting starters so thats winnable.

I think the Rams could finish 3-3. 7-9 would be huge for momentum considering all that has happened this year. 6-10 is probably more realistic

And don't forget, we get TJ MacDonald back which means somebody goes to the practice squad or gets cut.

Well, the Rams have 6 games left and 5 of them are against teams that are pretty good. I don't see the Rams finishing with more than 7 wins, and I think that's even a stretch.

Here's hoping for a big Draft next Season, a couple of FA signings that matter, and a team changing Trade.

I hope I eat my words, but this team is still a year or two away.

I think we get two more wins this season. We're still going to have our ups and downs (mostly downs) because of how young our team is. Clemens is also too streaky of a QB to consistently give us a chance to come from behind or win games. Same goes for our Defense.

Personally the way the Niners are playing, I think we can beat them. Tampa is putting a complete JV team on the field, that is a win. Chicago with Cutler on offense or Lance Briggs on defense is a win for the horned ones. That is 3 wins. and we can very easily still take Arizona IMO. That would have us at 8-8. With all the craziness and injuries, 8-8 is a positive step.

I have to think our D is going to run out of gas. Somewhere around the New Orleans game and may linger for a few games as well. You can only keep a team in the game for so long with no offense.

Unless of course you are hitting people and breaking ribs.

We can beat anybody if we play like we did against Indianapolis. Hands down!
