How much more adversity will this team have to over come? Hopefully if we make it past the Devils , some of the other teams can extend their series for a couple of days. Any rest we can get at this point is critical to us even having a chance in the second round. Then again maybe Boucher will keep playing terrific and we won't have to worry about it

Louie Lams is throwing jars of jam in the visitors dressing room at Wachovia...I wonder if it was Smuckers.

The jelly jar hit the wall in the visiting dressing room at the Wachovia Center hard, smashing into bits and leaving chunks of goo on the designer suits belonging to the Devils players.

The incident itself was not a surprise. Given the poor effort late in Game 4 and the 3-1 deficit to a Flyers team that barely made the postseason, a few of the players probably wanted to trash the place themselves.

But the source of the flying jam was not in a uniform. It was a furious Lou Lamoriello who punctuated a tirade at the coaches by grabbing the jar off the postgame spread and hurling it to its sticky end.

The lost story in all of this is Brodeur trying to become the second goaltender to win 100 Playoff Games. Depending on how the Devils' next season goes, tonight could be his last chance.

I think Boucher can steal one game out of three. If not this one at least game 6. He has been playing remarkable and needs to keep it up. The defense has also been playing well, we just need a few chip in goals and I think that will be enough. Like someone else said, Gags and Carter weren't really scoring any way, and we managed to still win.
