Can anyone remember a more messed up tournament than this?

There is a guaranteed 9th seed (at best) in the Elite 8 in one bracket, another has a streaking 12 seed in the Sweet 16, another had the #1 seed needing a very late run to win against the 16, and the 4th one has the #1 seed struggling greatly with a 9, while the 3 seed needed 2 miracles to make the Sweet 16. Goddamnit do I love tournament basketball.

I think you'll be fine man. I know it's early but Indiana will wear Temple down. They are so incredibly talented. If every team in the nation was playing at the top of their game, I'd take the Hoosiers over anyone.

I have to ask: what made you pick New Mexico that far? I had them beating Harvard and bowing out after that. Their best win this season was against Colorado State and they had a couple of embarrassing losses. I never got the lovefest with them.

I have seen 4 IU now 5 games, and not impressive in any. As I said on the other thread, gotta win the next one, nothing is sure in the tourney.

Exactly. Indiana, like every team in the nation, can be a victim to a bad game. But they also beat Michigan & Michigan State twice, crushed North Carolina and spanked Ohio State in Columbus. They have 2 guys who are legit Wooden contenders along with a very talented PG. They will be a handful for Miami... if IU can get there.
