I think it was pretty cut and dry he was stopping and it hit his skate. I've seen way worse counted.

Further watching the ranger replay now. Isnt the rule a kicking motion? Players can direct the puck into the net. His skate never comes off the ice. Noway should that even be questioned

Dude glad you posted. I am seeing a lot of my ranger pals all butt hurt. It's distinct kicking motion. Not distinct falling motion. Also look up Callahan goal in 2012 in may. Now if anything, that was a kick. And I remember back then, it was a great goal.
Cam fell down. It's a goal. The league, refs and Toronto saw what I saw.
