I really like this guy's potential. An .808 OPS last year and this year is hitting .347/.420/.493 in 38 games for Reading. He has played RF, LF, 3B, and 1B in the minors. He should be moved up to AAA soon and possibly play LF for us next year if Brown continues to suck.

Anyone worth a damn at short in the minors?

I like that Asche has gotten his shit together recently. Would be real nice if he can be productive at the plate and move him to first as soon as possible.

Why? Howard has been decent and even if he reverts back to completely sucking or we just want someone to platoon with him at first base, we have Ruf. Asche is finally getting acclimated to the majors. He shouldn't have to deal with being jerked to a new position. If anyone should be playing more first base, it should be Maikel Franco. Asche's defense (sans LAA) has been great.

And as far as shortstops worth a damn (even though Rollins has played excellent thus far), J.P. Crawford has a .902 OPS, albeit at Low-A ball. Still, a .900 OPS from a freaking shortstop is damn impressive.
