The press whips everyone up into a frenzy every year. You have to wait to see how things really develop as FA and the season get closer.

Just watched Louis Riddick speaking on this. The way he was talking. It sees Cam was playing catch up all year far as knowing the schemes n plays. Throw in Cam catching the Rona and there's some plausible validity for his struggles last year. Is Billy B's rep as greatest HC eva on the line here somewhat Pats fans?

Did Shula, Landry, Lombardi, Halas or anyone ever have 18 winning seasons in a row and, nine trips to the NFL Championship game or six NFL titles???

You haters are all the same. Come back to this in March of 2022 and discuss how the 2021 season progressed. Or do you have a crystal ball? If you do have that ball, try using it on the stock market and get back to us with the success story.

Like I said months back, another year in that system with a legit WR, the Pats will win the division.

I am pretty sure Breed was asking a question not making a comment. Calm down.

We know 2 things. Cam is not taking a team anywhere and we know it's never his fault.

Can we just jumped ahead and blame the O-line for the forthcoming disaster.

First off. I like Billy B. Not just as a HC, but even moreso for the things he's done for urban communities n at risk youth. I had an opportunity to meet him once that fell through due an emergency of sorts situation that came up. I surprised myself at how disappointed I was that I lost that opportunity to meet him. I'd also say he's arguably the greatest HC I've seen in my lifetime. With Bill Walsh being the only other HC I'd put in his class. Both had no issue getting rid of a player regardless of name or accomplishment a little early rather than a little late. I think Walsh was a better talent evaluator, BB's pretty good as well though, but give BB the edge overall. Due to doing what he's done in the salary cap/FA era. Something Walsh didn't have to deal with.

I asked what I did cuz A) The Pats certainly slipped a few rungs down the ladder last year. B) It seemed almost unanimous from Pats fans that signing Cam was a bad move. Due to him being on the downward slope skills-wise, I thought so as well. C) There's appears to be a lot of holes @ the skill positions namely WR n TE. D) No more counting 6 automatic wins in the AFC East as both Buffalo n Miami look for real

Some pluses though. Lots of talent is back after not playing due to the Rona last year. Like 4 significant defensive players I believe. The Pats have a gang of cap space/money. And possibly, Cam is now comfortable in the system n can just react n play as opposed to having to thinking n playing. They also need to find a short yardage/goal line runner not named Newton. That aspect of his play needs to be if not cut out completely, seriously cut down.

I thought Screamin Stephen A said something interesting as well concerning BB's n Brady's relationship on First Take, but it didn't relate to how well the Pats do this season.

But a hater of Billy B I am not. Though I'll readily admit to having a serious case of Brady fatigue.

I think Cam is going to surprise this year with additional offensive weapons.

BB is one of the greatest coaches of all time - that’s a fact.
Also a fact - Brady is one of the greatest of all time.
Also a fact - there wasnt a single team in the AFC East that managed to get their act together for more than a year during BB’s entire tenure. He was gifted six easy wins every year.

Now that the Bills have the makings of a
Consistently good team, we’ll see how BB does.
