Just my assumption. Obviously it went far enough for the Rams to say Cam won't play again for them.

I doubt a simple tantrum would lead to them cutting ties.

He was the best Rams RB on the roster last season before the injury. When he came back from injury last season he was still the best Rams RB on the roster. He's been awful this season in all phases of the game, not just his ability to see holes. Not shocked he isn't playing and he should be on his way out. RB has been a low priority position for the Rams for a few years now. It's a consequence of their picks and salary cap philosophy. Akers and Henderson as a 1-2 wasn't viable with their injury history. Having 5 OL on IR doesn't help.
