Yeah, the Hat could be in for some trouble Dash. I hope any family and friends you have there are well prepared. Best wishes for their well-being.

Fortunately, my folks are up in the higher part of town, so they'll be okay. Downtown Medicine Hat is a lot like downtown Calgary though, City Hall is perched just above the South Saskatchewan River (so is the Medicine Hat Arena where the Tigers play).

That's got to be devastating to the local economy and the people that live down there. Very sad looking at these pictures and I sure hope our Canadian friends in the Calgary area can get through this mess. Dash I was reading some of the tweets from your other post and it looks like your home town got hit hard as well.

Shit, I flunked the Canadian test, I spelled syrup wrong. Funny thing just yesterday I was telling my daughter in law how much I HATE the stuff. I can't stand the smell of the stuff it actually makes me sick.

Yikes, that's not good although like the Saddledome, they are planning to build a new arena in Medicine Hat (I'm hearing a new 8,000 to 9,000 seat arena is in the works)
