Rushing: Daniels 891 yards 6 TDs, Caleb 489 yards 0 TDs

Offense Weapons: Caleb had Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Kmet, Swift…. Daniels had, McLauren, and… Ertz?

Nevermind the Commanders record compared to ours.

All that said, I blame coaching more than anything, but have seen this meme before with the cherrypicked stats. Daniels has shown a relaxed, cool and confident demeanor while Caleb has been (excusably) shell shocked. I get why pundits are saying Daniels looks like the real deal, while the jury is still out on Caleb…

Washington has a better OC, HC, and OL. It's not great but it is better than Chicago's.

Chicago has to add to the OL so Caleb can develop....

For a rookie qb that ran for his life all season and sacked 68x,all the while taking some nasty hits,I think it was a great accomplishment......

And it's even gonna get better......
I agree.

Daniels had weapons....

WR: McLaurin was the #1 but they had a couple other decent players in Olamide Zaccheaus and Noah Brown.

RB: Robinson is a solid RB and Ekeler is a nice backup.

Ertz is still a capable TE.

Not on Chicago's level but not too shabby. The narrative Daniels doesn't have weapons is overblown. Having said that, they will add another WR to be the #2 in the offseason with their cap space....but Daniels wasn't turning water into wine by himself.

Don't take away those accomplishment that Daniels has....
That's part of his game.....passing yards/rushing yards, they are still yards gained.

Not too mention the 4th qtr victories he's had......not too mention the rib injury he suffered the very first series vs Carolina that kept him out rest of the game......while Caleb played every game from start to finish.
And then to play with a rib injury the next few games......

Daniels has had a far better season than Caleb.....

The only win I don't take stock in from Daniels,is the botched hail mary vs the Bears.....otherwise he has been Ballin.
He is the soul reason why Washington is where they are this year.......

Now it may seem that I'm sticking up for JD,I'm really not,but don't diminish his other game when comparing.....

That's kinda like taking away Lamar Jackson's rushing yards.....

You guys seem to have a pretty good grasp on Daniels, well most of you. I'm not here to flame, I am rooting for Caleb and agree any bust talk is idiotic. I honestly did not know he only had 5 picks, that's incredibly impressive for a rookie under the pressure he faced.

As you guys had mentioned Caleb has a lot of positives and a few obvious issues he has to work out. The first for me is his accuracy, that simply has to improve and I do kind of question how much he can improve. This is kind of something you were born with IMO to a big extent. He also has developed happy feet, again understandable, and appears a bit shell shocked. I am aware that many of his sacks were on him, we saw that a lot from RG III. But man the tools are stil there and his ability to make Mahomes type of improvisions is fun to watch, I'm rooting for him.

Maybe even 2nd… A little luster coming off the Jordan Love turd as well…
Love had a rough game, but did not completely revert to the top pick bust that happened in New York.

I am wondering who Kliff Kingsbury rubbed the wrong way if Poles had nothing to do with the everflus hiring or if it was truly making sure Caleb was not catered to by bringing his college coach in to keep his development going. Has he even been requested to interview here or is this McFarthys to lose?

I guess we are back to having the third best quarterback in the division.....

Maybe even 2nd… A little luster coming off the Jordan Love turd as well…

Get Up this morning brought up the topis " Is Jordan Love an elite qb"

Hawkins says no....elite quality but is not there...
Saturday,Greeney and Foxworthy said he was down wrs.....lol......what??
Last I knew they have good ones in Doubs,Reed and Watson...
Although Watson was not out there Sunday, that's still two decent wrs.....not too mention Tucker Kraft the their te...

They got it wrong.....Love is an ok qb but falls in the Jay Cutler - Kirk Cousins catagory.......fools gold.

I mean, its the problem with the method that everyone likes to tout of developing your QB by letting them sit and watch for a year or two... You burn their rookie contract time, and in the case of Love, they burned almost all of it and had to make a huge QB contract decision based on basically a single year of play...

Love is a tweener. He's definitely a starting QB in the NFL, but he may not be worth the kind of scratch he is making... Seeing more and more teams getting caught in that conundrum (Miami, Jacksonville...)

pretty cool clip with Caleb, not sure I’m buying the ‘has to have’ argument tho. Caleb seems measured and specific in his response about the ‘qualities’ he like to see in a HC and/or OC
