I think most of us Lions fans know Caldwell is a mediocre coach at best. I feel a couple more 8-8 seasons while we waste Stafford's prime years.

When Caldwell needed to be bold (or is it Cooter?) right after the interception, the next calls were for runs. Not to try and stick it to the Steelers D when they came on after their O failed them. Too conservative.
The go for it on fourth and goal would have been find IF the team had been able to move it and the Lions D wasn't stopping anything. But, the D had been doing well, and the O had been OK but not dominant. To not take points in a tight game, to not get ahead when available, is just a failure of coaching.
