P5's who require X amount of P5 Non-con allow a couple Independents to satisfy the requirement, it doesnt mean talent level, coaching level, school size, attendance, fan participation, any other metric conceivable for college football, is the same as P5. I could see BSU qualifying because they arent a shit team that you have to ask if they are even FBS when you see them on a schedule. That is all that means.

As I said, I make no claims to talent. As far as attendance they have averaged 60k per game, in a 63k stadium. Also by school size they qualify.

They are MidMajors nonetheless Even if i am wrong on 3/4 the only one that matters is quality on a consistent basis If they start playing all the top dogs in p5 conferences it will be different
