We have reached the bye week. The team is so very close to be so very good, but just off a little. There has been improvements over last year with out a doubt. There are some decisions to be made on the bye week, like what to do with Jordan Taylor. With DT traded another WR with game experience might be nice, but Taylor has to be healthy too. He also could fill in as a punt returner when Jones gets hurt again.
VJ and the coaching staff really need to sit down and spend the week doing self scouting. Look at the Offense and Defense as to how they would gameplan for what they see. Determine the weaknesses and strengths of both units and apply that in going forward. If the team wins 2 games in the last 7 they may not have jobs any more.
The players need to get back to basics and treat the week just like there was a game this week. If they have a let down or an exhale like last year it could be disastrous. The team is playing hard and that is a good thing. They could easily be mailing it in given the record.
