Todd McShay projects Maliek to go late first round to SEA.

I don't think either is ready, if given the option however they'll both be nfl bound

I don't either...but if someone like McShay is saying first round..I'd be gone.

If anything, he will play his ass off against UCLA because he knows the NFL people are watching now.

I'd be gone like a mofo if I was projected 1st or 2nd round.

3rd round or lower I'd probably stay and try to improve my stock next season.

Maliek will not stay. Look what happened to Spencer Long. If Spencer did not get hurt his senior season, he would have been a first round pick. Playing and getting injured agaiinst Purdue(I was there) cost him.

My advice to Mr. Collins, go to the NFL. Good luck, thanks for being a Cornhusker.

Vince Valentine is testing the waters but I cannot see him being rated very high. He really needs to play and not be injured for an entire season. Why would an NFL team draft a guy just so he could go on injured reserve?

Spencer Long wasn't going to be a 1st round draft pick if he came out early. Guards typically don't go very often in the first round, but your point is taken. Maliek, IMO, is not ready for the NFL, it will eat him alive at the outset if he goes now. On the other hand, if, for some weird reason he is a 1st rounder he will go. He has a kid, he wants to provide. He's gone.

I just don't know why he's projected as a 1st round pick right now, I would put him at late 2nd to 4th round myself. If he comes back next year and improves again he could be a guaranteed first rounder with a degree.

If Bo was still here he'd stay. We knew he was gone the second they fired Bo.

VV's projection is gonna be much lower, but he could end up being an even better NFL player.

He'll be projected 4th round and want Maliek type money so he'll stay.
