Tez brings December into June

He is our Ray Lewis. We have not had a player with his fire and passion since maybe David Fulcher.

Notice in the article about how smart they say Burfict is, and that Guenther says he will try to make Burfict a defensive coach for him someday when his playing career is over. That he is usually the smartest player on the field come Sunday.

It is an excellent read and something that makes you proud of our team. If we are not able to resign Burfict, our defense immediately will go from top 5 to at best top 15. He is the heart, soul and fire in this team.

Good to hear Dalton is getting a bit more fire in his attitude as well, and then thinking God that they are not in pads or have to worry about Burfict hitting him. lol Good times.

Burfict is my next jersey I get.

Definitely for me if I were to get a new one.

Although it would be from China, as to not give a cent to that fuck, Mike Brown.

LOL. Anything with a Bengals logo gives money to Mike Brown unless it is done illegally. I imagine that is what you were referring to, a knock off jersey without the real logo on it. :)

Regardless, that was still funny.

Ummmmm...haha

What does that have to do with Burfict eventually being the best LB in Bengals history?

Maualuga played much better last year once he could stop thinking and just let Burfict tell him what to do and where to go. lol

It also helped that he dropped all that weight he gained the year before thinking it would help him. He gained it the wrong way, and at any rate, he was never a "big" LB...he should be simply rushing the line in run support and passing attacks.

He should never be in coverage.

Who is currently the best bengals linebacker in franchise history?

Hobs 40th anniversary team had the starting linebackers as Reggie Williams, Takeo Spikes, and Brian Simmons.

How in the hell is Brian Simmons on that list? This franchise has existed for over 40 years and they've only had two linebackers BETTER than Brian Simmons? Really? Is that even possible?

I'm not even sure Reggie Williams (the top choice) was ever even in a pro-bowl. He certainly was never all-pro.

Making all of this even more comical is the fact that for the last decade we've been coached by a guy that cut his teeth as a linebackers coach.

Marv would put Rey M. there as the greatest.

he's our Ray Lewis, he might as well be wearing a superman cape.

Even Spikes was only ordinary for us. IMHO Burfict is already among the top three, along with Jim LeClair and Bill Bergey.

Jim LeClair was a monster. Of course I am one of few here that would remember him.

If Tez gets hurt (or worse) this season, I am blaming this thread.

Odell thurman, and Ahmad Brooks kicked major ass.

It is okay, you just did the knocking on wood routine basically for dejinxing threads. We are good to go. Thanks for keeping it real. :)
