I think he's more reckless than dirty.

The sack itself was fine. I have no problem with that. Totally legal. It was the knee to the shoulder at the end. Not just kneed him, but wound that up and gave it force. He's not dumb, he knows where to target to hurt a guy. He went after the throwing shoulder after the sack. He doesn't get the benefit of the doubt on this. Not with his history.Burfict is a dirty player. I think that much is clear. Some of the shit he does on the field is just stupid.
That said, some of the things he's accused of doing are just absurd. I saw videos today trying to justify how he was purposely trying injure Big Ben's shoulder..... Big Ben is one of the most difficult quarterbacks to tackle that has ever lived. Burfict was lucky to wrap him up and wrestle him to the ground. The idea that he could preemptively plan to slam him on his throwing shoulder and then in one motion knee him in the same shoulder on purpose is not anywhere near the realm of reality.

Same like when he purposefully twisted the ankles of Cam and his TE, against Carolina who were both nursing ankle injuries. Dude has no place in the league when he does things like that.
I knew someone was going to beat to the punch on that one. That's an excessive penalty. I know the argument can be made that he's a repeat offender but suspend him for one game if that's the case
He's lucky he wasn't suspended for a season.I knew someone was going to beat to the punch on that one. That's an excessive penalty. I know the argument can be made that he's a repeat offender but suspend him for one game if that's the case
