he's your best arm left, he's the best closer in the NL.

He had to get the bottom of the order, a bunch fo mediocre to bad hitters out and extend the game. He does his job and Bumgarner isn't even in the gmae right now.

If the mets hitters had been even slightly less impatient at the plate in the 1st 3 innings..Bum might have been done in the 7th.....meh

But familia is the best in the NL. He should be out there the same way you should use Britton.

What a stupid post. Britton has been a far superior pitcher to Familia since they both became relievers.

There's nothing wrong with bringing Familia in... he just shit the bed. Orioles didn't bother to use their best relief pitcher in an 11-inning game.

I agree but my point was just because Familia gave the game away tonight doesn't mean the same would have happened with Britton last night. No issue with Familia being out there. As the home team, you always should use your closer in a tie game in the top of the 9th.
