Being on target matters more than throwing a sprial, of course you want a sprial that is on target, but that is not what you said originally. More often than not I'd put Hunter in on a short yardage play and try to get creative before I'd use Dixon. Not always, but I would feel more comfortable doing that than relying on the running skills of Dixon.
