Home game after a bye and a young QB starting for the Bills should make for a winning formula for the fins. There is no excuse for anything other than a solid performance by the entire team today.
Going to rant all at once about all the things that are bbotering me with the Fins to see if it helps make some changes...
Tannehill needs to stop throwing at Hartline - bad things happen when he does... Been happening for a while now between qbs and falling in love with Hartline.
Secondly, routes are taking too fucking long to develop and putting tannehill in horrible positions.
The play calling sucks in certain situations thats bothered me all season long and pisses me off that they did not get that fixed during the bye week.
We need to use Miller as our speed/perimeter runner and call between the tackles runs for Thomas - that is what both Rbs are good at and that is how they should be used in the running game.
This has the makings of a blow out - or a game in which we will probably settle for FGs more times than not.
So much for the fins breaking through and trying to be one of the elites... They are clearly just mediocre at best.
Forgot to add... we really need to fucking figure out the mystery of covering TEs and also defend against screens. We just absolutely SUCK in these areas
And THAT IS what Tannehill has to do.... Get Clay and the TEs involved... If he does that, he opens the rest of the offense up. Time to let Clay loose... He is a very capable player.
What a play and effort by Gibson - That should be our #2 guy at WR when not going to Wallace. We have momentum going into the half though the Bills get the ball first. We need a stop.
Dont like the fact that we started this drive with passes as opposed to running the ball... Makes for a tougher third down which of course we fail to execute. Pressure on the defense.
