Go Lil E #88
I'm 41. My Grandparents and parents brought me up racing. I wasn't allowed to go to the races with them until about 83 or 84(I was 12). It was always considered an adult activity. And once I went to my first race, Darlington, I found out why no one took their kids. I had no idea what went on there. I saw boobs all weekend and had my first sip of shine. I also threw up for the first time from drinking. I was sneaking beers out of random coolers!! Anyway, my Uncle and a few other family members were Big E fans, so I was too. Nice to meet you!!
edit: I'll have to go check the year on that Darlington race. I do remember Lake Speed won it and he was my 2nd favorite driver until he retired.
yea, my love of E is not subtle....
I grew up in Key West so I had cable but I didn't get to my first Nascar race until Homestead was built, had Clubseats on S/F line (aisle) for every Nascar event there for years, except the cup races (they priced us out for them).
nice to meet you too, and please call me rie
