No you wouldn't. I think most of the fans I talk to are of the same mindset: Go for the money now, Nebraska will always be there if it doesn't work out. I can think other first round "Can't miss" prospects who never made it onto the diamond, either due to injuries or a weak head.

This time away from practice was planned... Wednesday will be when things get ratcheted up for the kid... Negotiations will commence with a fury as he has to make the decision this week...

Regardless of his choice... he is a good kid... I am sure he enjoyed the attention he got Friday from fans all over...

I heard about that... No worries... I do not suspect he would be wearing a Royals jersey for some time ??? (Farm Clubs first, if he goes that direction).

I have to say that if Bubba is using NU for nothing other than padding his wallet I will not be very impressed. I'm not sure what he is trying to accomplish but he has appeared to speak with integrity even for a kid his age which is a great credit to his parents. However, in the end I don't like seeing all of the indecision, articles one after another, with NU in the heading. I just don't think it's positive publicity fwiw
