Self-proclaimed Asshole
He shoulda had that pitch, but yeah...you can't argue balls and strikes
More importantly you can't make an exhibit of showing up the ump. This dumb fuck thinks he's bigger than the game.

I'm not saying it will happen, but if he does have a great season.. Will all the haters still come out of the woodwork?
Harper's an idiot. Shouldn't take long for him to come back down to earth. His WAR is 1.5 higher than Cruz? Give me a f***ing break.
Well, we certainly aren't seeing the "he's overrated and not living up to the hype" posts, but he's not getting the recognition that he deserves for the season he's having.

Mid September and a two hundred and fucking four OPS+. That's just sick.
There are only 19 players in the history of MLB that have had a better OPS+ for a season - six of them played in the 1800's and another seven played before they let black guys in the league. That leaves six players in the last seventy years that have had better seasons than 22-year-old Bryce Harper.
Out of those 6, how many were linked to roids too? I know Bonds has had better OPS+ seasons, but I'd almost bet all of them came after 2000. And I think Sosa and McGuire had a season better, but that was during the roid era as well.
Remove those with links to roids and you've got Mickey Mantle, Willie McCovey and Frank Thomas.
The other three are Bonds, McGwire and Bagwell.

Having a near 10 War season and one of the best OPS+ of the modern era.. I hope he keeps this up!!
For a whole 2-game stretch? Over-hyped and over-rated. I'd take Trout or Kris Bryant all damn day. More production, less arrogant bullshit. And hairflips.

A hormonal teenager playing way above his competition is showing signs of immaturity?! WELL I NEVER!Too many instances like this.... and this was before he got to the bigs.
