Come on, man, be a uniter, not a divider...
No clue what they are, but probably something to do with swings at certain pitch counts? Enlighten the bourgeois.

being a rays fan its pumped down our throats ad nausea.....it can become overload......and honestly basebal was played for over 100 years without everyone giving a rats cock about war uzr ops+ etc etc....sometimes i find it interesting.....but sometimes i want my manager to just have a hunch.....know what i meanlol
I just have never anyone here actually divulge into Sabermetrics that much. Most of you seem to keep it simple and sweet. Which I respect a lot actually, and tend actually agree with..
Baseball has become a bit "stats" to death..
But some of those stats have their uses IMO...while others are kinda silly and pure confirmation bias...

You gotta let 1998 go, Hammer. let it go.......
Like Contact rate.
O-swing: Percent of pitches swung outside the K zone
Z-swing: same thing, but inside the K zone
F-strike: % of first pitch strikes
SwStr: Swinging Strike Percentage
Stuff like that..
I see. But just swinging at a pitch in your zone isn't the same as actually hitting a pitch in your zone, so you have to have another metric for that, right?

We got robbed.
I'm sure Down knows it all inside and out.
Yes...they have O-Contact(Outside of the Zone), and Z-Contact (Inside the Zone)
