Hey fellow Caps' fans,
I missed the GNT thread yet again - but this time because I was at the game.
They were throwing obnoxious Boston fans (note: all Boston fans are not obnoxious, just the ones in my section) out of the game left and right. I had the misfortune of sitting behind four 20-21 year-old girls who were Boston "fans" (one was from Annapolis, MD) who seemed to have discovered the frequency at which human ears can bleed. It was wicked awful, except that they were the butt of constant jokes and ridicule and someone in our section had an excellent Diamond Joe Quimby impression.
I did help out one Boston fan who was totally cool and who security was talking to. Even though he was rooting for the Bs, we talked hockey with him and he was also annoyed by the gaggle of college girl Bruins' fans who were busier hugging, taking photos, and yelling out to anyone who was a Boston fan than actually watching the game (they missed 2 of the 3 Boston goals).
Pretty bad night of hockey for the Caps, although I liked how much pressure they were putting on in front of the net. Thomas was just excellent and we just didn't convert our opportunities. Oh well.
I'm just happy I'll never have to sit by those girls ever again.

I sat next to a hottie in the season fanalie last year vs the B's around that section. Think it might've been 428. But anyway, she wasn't annoying at all, but she turned me down because "she wouldn't be willing to date a Caps fan"
