That's how I feel about any possibility of Kyrie coming back to Boston... ok IF we're adding AD.

I think I said this before. If Kyrie is the leader of that team and #1...I will take DLo. If Kyrie is a #2 like he was in CLE...I will take Kyrie. Kyrie is the better player but fit is the issue with him

Well Vegas moved the odds to make the Nets the favorites for Kyrie several days before reporters even started talking about it so to me, it sounds like its close to done that he's going there. Both sides know it and now Brooklyn is making moves to load up another big splash to pair with it. They may still miss out on that, but they're pushing all their chips in now.



Also, quick aside, I actually like that they picked up Taurean Prince. He's a good young 3 and D wing with some versatility. It seems like they expect him just to be used as trade fodder in this one and in possible future deals but I'd rather keep him if I were Brooklyn.

The real interesting piece in this is that Brooklyn could get stuck if DLo signs an offer sheet early in free agency.

They could be forced to make their decision on him before all the cards have been played.

I was thinking that. What makes them think he won't do the exact same thing to D Lo that just happened with the young Celtics.

If they need Kyrie to get KD then sign and trade D Lo or let him go.

I was surprised that:

1. Brooklyn had to give up 2 first rounders

and

2. That Cleveland was not in with the JR contract.....


Makes me think that Cleveland has other plans for the K.
