The Nets have up to $66.975M in cap space. However, Russell has a $21M cap hold. He will make more than that in free agency, so if the Nets want to keep him, they would keep that cap hold at first to maximize their cap space. Kyrie will cost $32.7M, leaving $13.275M for FA if they want to retain Russell. I doubt that's their plan.
