What’s not to appreciate about throwing those left handed interceptions?

Jake Plummer was highly under appreciated while he was our QB.

I think with his attitude he was appreciated correctly. His value was marred by all the dumbass boneheaded decisions he made when the game was on the line.

I know its early, but Rod Smith is the first Bronco player I thought of upon seeing the thread title.

Him and Eddie Mac both, but over his career Rod was very underrated outside of Denver.

Holy shit Plummer was 39-15 in 4 seasons. Had no idea his W/L record was that good.

We should have kept him and ran the Kubiak system intact until we found Plummer's replacement when he would have retired I get Shanahan wanted a real QB that could run his system but those QB's are rare. QB's that can run Gary's system are fare easier to find.

I think Plummer would have won us an SB.I don't think the Frown cannon would have ever won much...

Yep, and 4 or 5 of those loses were on Mike Shanahan goldbricking Plummer to be able to bench him for Cutler so he could implement his system

He made Plummer stand in the pocket and that did not go well as Shannahan already knew it would! Plummer was shafted here oh well....

Really don't remember much of Plummer's days in Denver. Didn't get to CO. until 2010. Holy crap Shanahan benched him for Plummer? Damn.

You know despite injuries I thought Knowshown Moreno had a good career with us.

4,700 total yards and 35 TD’s in 60 games. Unfortunately he had 2 half seasons because of injury otherwise I think he could’ve been in convo for one of our better RB’s.

No He made Plummer Play in his system and he knew he would fail at it. Gary Kubiak gt the Houston job and so Plummer had to change OC and Shanahan wanted his new Rooky to start. so he forced Plummer to play in his system that calls for a pocket passer. well, that was never Plummer game so he got benched and cutler era started.
