I’m a believer in “it all starts at the top”. Walton/Penner buying the team tops the list for me - but they have yet to prove that they have what it takes. But I like what I’ve seen so far.

I believe you need good owners to make it work, but even with good owners you need the right coach/gm combo. Look at the Hunt Family and the Mara Family who are routinely touted as good owners but it only works when they get the coach/gm right. For that reason I am going with the Payton hire but Walton Penner ownership is a very close second.

Conditioning moving on from Elway Kicking Russ out of Office. My 4th would be going radio silent.

They just need to pull off a Edgar Kaiser move in 24 then I'll be sold :D

My contention is that the horse was ownership and the wagon was Payton. Would Payton be here if he wasn’t sold on ownership?

(Since we could vote for three, I did vote for both)

Not sold on the new owners yet, especially after the coaching search. However, they did get a great HC, and have retained the GM that has done wonders with our drafts and fa.
Those, plus anyone but our old S&C coaches should improve the product on the field.

All of the above even though I know you said 3. Can't argue any of them.

Most years the free agency haul or the draft would get heavy votes on this question.
