Articles today are quoting various anonymous sources that Paton needs to distance himself from Hackett already, or he's gone too.

Hard to believe that someone who's done so well up until Hackett and Wilson would have a short leash like Hackett, but here we are.

Next loss Hackett gets play calling taken away, OR we hire someone like Kubiak to come in and consult (as per an article I read).

Hackett is the great rah rah guy who interviewed well, but completely lost in the day to day. See it all the time in business, just interesting to see it at the NFL level.

Paton had a great first draft but a lot of his other moves have not worked out so far including RW's contract which looks like an anchor that could weigh down this team for years to come. Ownership has no ties to either Paton or Hackett so the early axe is a possibility. I would love to somehow keep Evero though. The guy's D shows up.

I know we all saw it, but one of the things that concerns me with Wilson more than anything is he looks kinda scared back there. I know the OL has him running for his life, but on several plays in the shotgun as soon as the ball was hiked he's getting happy feet and taking his eyes away from downfield.

Overall, I'm really right with everybody else. This team is a disappointment on some next level stuff considering the hype we had coming into the season. I still can't for the life of me understand how we threw $245 mil at Russ without watching him take a real game snap. That is blindly stupid throwing that kinda money at somewhat banking on things he did 2 seasons ago.

You can tell things are inching toward explosion unless they miraculously turn this thing 180 degrees immediately.

That's what my bro-n-law said last night during the game. He's been a season ticket holder for many years now. Actually he's the reason I was able to go to multiple games at Mile High from 2010 to '18.

He wasn't happy when Hackett was hired. He wanted someone with HCing experience. Specifically Sean Payton. He's hoping Hackett is one and done.

No only does Wilson suck at playing QB he sucks at staying healthy.

I think Paton gets another year or two if he moves on from Hackett. He's done a lot of good things already. And who knows, a competent HC would likely get more from a better o line and qb, which is likely the thing we address this off-season.

Agreed. After repeatedly coughing up the ball he should expect some sideline time. He’s lucky they haven’t shown him the door.
