Future players to keep eye on

WR Tyler Johnson- Minnesota
WR Kelvin Harmon- North Carolina State (could declare this year)
WR AJ Brown- Mississippi
WR Deebo Samuel- South Carolina (probably declares this year)

Ive brought some of these up before, but after watching more from today they keep impressing me more and more every time I watch them.

Get Evan Worthington S - for the Buffs on your radar @Draft Crazy - used to be Evan White (long story). He is a 6'2" 210 LBs Safety who can run fast, play hard - and makes good judgements on the field.

I've seen him, hasn't stuck out yet. Ill have to keep an eye on him. Great size especially if he can run. What's the story with his name?

The details are not all public - he got suspended for all of last season and was even thrown off the team - when he came back - he had the name change.

Yesterday he had about 10 tackles -- 2 for loss - and broke up a pass. He has coverage skills - but can play in the box. Coach Mac - compared him to Awuzie yesterday after the game.

That seems to happen a lot with players early in their career sadly.

Mayfield was awesome last night for OU. Looks like a classic very good college QB, but not great pro prospect? Seems to have the leadership part of the job description down pat. Thoughts?

Mayfield has a shot in the NFL. The knock will of course be size, but with teams in dire need of QB and guys like Brees turning out he has a shot. He is listed at 6'1" but I would be surprised if he is over 6'0", that is going to hurt him. As a pure passer he is amazing, and to think he is a former Texas Tech walk on who lost the starting job to Davis Webb and left for Oklahoma to beat out Trevor Knight who at the time was starting to establish himself as a good QB the year before.

I'm all in on Wisconsin TE Troy Fumagalli and Penn State TE Mike Geisicki.

Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor looks like a nice little fantasy pickup for me. Looks to be the next big star RB at Wisconsin.

Really. So pretty much everybody that's not on line of scrimmage including offense has been referred as off ball ?
" Now TD has lined up off ball behind Elway, hands it off to TD but he's tackled in backfield by Woods on who came up from his off ball position to make the tackle ! " " I got to tell you, Raiders are really exploiting Denver's run game with their off ball defenders ! " " We'll be right back after this commercial and have sideline conversation with former hall of famer ,off ball Yursonuts ! :)

with the 3-4 and 4-3 getting so mishmahed, the term "edge" and "off ball LB" are now mostly used in scouting community. However this can cause issues when discussing DL lol because a 0/1 tech is VERY different than a 3/4/5

His game against OSU definitely impressed me more than some of his others. Had better timing and ball placement. That has been one of my big knocks on him is that ball placement is not always there especially ont he deep ball. He puts up huge stats against pretty inferior defenses in the Big 12 where his guys are running wide open. See a lot of his deep ball passes where his guy has to slow down a lot allowing the defense to catch back up. Against OSU though saw him have some great timing to fit some passes into some tight windows. Also loved the creative play calling of OU. They had OSU on their heals for a good chunk of that game of what was coming at them.

Agree- Sometimes he can be a bit wild throwing the ball down the field, but vs Ohio State that wasn't the case.

Oh yeah and Oklahoma actually appears to have a Defense this year.. Something they didn't have last year.

Not that he was ever high on my prospect list but JT Barrett surely doesn't look like an NFL QB to me.

I've had an OSU fan I have argued with quite a bit that thinks Barrett is a top-5 QB in this upcoming draft but just hasn't had any playmakers around him to take advantage of his superior skill set. I guess I always thought great QB's made the players around them look better not the other way around. I would take Barrett's playmakers over what Rosen has in UCLA any day of the week yet Rosen still finds ways to make plays.
