The thing that always sucks about QB's at big programs getting injured is the next guy in is usually a high recruit with the ability to take over. Doubt it happens in the case of Francois, but Jake Frahm is getting the start while Eason heals. Both highly recuirted and Eason struggled last year so that one is a bit more open.

Found Benltey's last game, he was good, but that OTHER signal caller got my attention as well. Ryan Finley. Grad transfer from Boise State. Need to watch more but from what I see I think there is some upside there.

Yes, Finley is one to keep an eye on. Started off slow last season, ended very well. Both have an NFL caliber weapon at WR.

South Carolina WR Deebo Samuel (should declare this year)
North Carolina WR Kelvin Harmon

NFL talent.

I love Bentley, like Finley. Both on the rise IMO.

Finley has the H/W/S you need at QB and appears to have the necessary arm talent as well. Impressed by his pocket movement and his progressions. Multiple plays first drive he hits his 2nd or 3rd progression while moving around in pocket to buy time/create throwing lane. Ends the drive with a rushing TD. 6'4" and used a lot on boots. I'm impressed. He wasn't at all on my radar.

Yeah I felt like Thorson got some love during the season last year, but not much preseason love. It's like they thought he was a fluke.
