Then I hope we draft DavisI want to kick you in the goat nads if we draft a guy that has an E in his name.

If Ross drops to the Chiefs, they take him unless his injuries make him completely undraftable
I think the Chiefs probably take a close look at one of the Qb's unless there's an early runIf Ross drops to the Chiefs, they take him unless his injuries make him completely undraftable
Im certainly not biggest fan of Bolles, was not tested much in his 1yr of fbs against a weak defensive schedule and 1 guy he faced with real talent gave him fits when lined up opposite (though mckinley played a lot at lde because utes ROT was not very good and did much of his damage on that side but won the matchup pretty fairly against bolles).
The Pac12 had one of the worst def seasons i can remember and Bolles entirely looks like a guy with great physical traits and poor technique who teams in a weak ot class hope they can develop. At least Ram has pretty good technique ... this is why i compare him to Foster who flew up boards post season due to unbelievable athleticism.... but ol in nfl is all about technique... and im just not a fan of guys without a strong fundamental base... thats why i love big ten ol typically... tend to get tested by elite ds and taught tremendous technique.
My worst fear is trading up for bolles because in this draft you are essentially trading away two starters for a pretty fair long shot LT. I think Ram at least ends up as a competent RT worse case... but thats not necessarily the value i hoped for but could live with at 20.
I am not sure there is a player id realiatically trade up for. Too many quality starters available 2nd and 3rd rds this year.
I like Davis, barnett, reddick, fournette lamp and adams an awful lot... but either not good value trading up or just long gone....
Lamp is an all pro OG type og imo and probably would be our best ol in 2yrs... just not a lt really... but id be ok using him as stop gap as ge might be better than what we have...
However... id rather trade our 1st for staley or thomas and get 5yrs of quality lt play than draft a project and give up another potential impact player for a project ot... just how i feel and maybe if that scenario happens it works out.... hey could have worked out for OZ but i said right from the start that was a bad choice as did many... putting your life savings into lottery tickets and winning doesnt make it the right choice or a wise one... sometimes you get away with high risk projects but longterm it is a sure way to the nfl talent poor house. Just my view
Sure. I'd say there is about a 40% chance the Chiefs take a QB in rd1. The issue is that it requires other teams passing on qbsI think the Chiefs probably take a close look at one of the Qb's unless there's an early run
