Chiefs--Again giving up a ton to go get a QB. Mahomes has some potential but man he is all over the place. Great one moment then scratching your head the next. Kind of glad to see the Chiefs do this one.
Honestly, I was figuring Mahomes would probably be out of reach for the Chiefs when the rumors started coming in that he was in play really high in rd1.

From an outsiders standpoint, I just dont understand what was wrong with Kizer. Mahomes has upside as a project and I'm glad the Chiefs invested in a QB but they basically gutted their ability to win a Super Bowl with Alex Smith to do so. They've got a 2nd round pick that either needs to fit a position they might've tackled with the 2018 first or they need to just ignore that, go for value and trade back for another pick or two in this deep draft.

My early grade for the Chiefs trade would just be a B. I think the Chiefs dodged a bullet with passing on Watson. Once his ball velocity issues get stacked on his other issues....I think he has at least a 70% chance of busting and I might be considerate with that evaluation.

Mixon has great interior running skill and that is absolutely necessary in NFL, but 6'1 is tall for a rb and those tall backs always battle injuries... even AP. You just hope they have toughness to fight through that... really think ideal is 5'10 5'11 is best or shorter if you an inch or so off. But, rare for tall rbs to have necessary interior run skills and Mixon is very fluid in congested space.

His teammate Perine is a very good player himself and depending on character might prefer him btw the two... but lots of good backs this year. Not very high on kamara though

There he goes. Marcus Maye..

Damn Adams and Maye together.. Makes up for the dumb pick of Calvin Pryor a few years ago.

The best WR on Clemson next year will be Deon Cain.

Not really point I was making... Renfro is one of the funnest guys to watch and will be a very quiet addition to the NFL but will have a long career ... hopefully still in orange
