Kelvin Benjamin is one I like too. He is said to be aggressive, sometimes too aggressive. That is something we are missing.

What impressed me was how he handled the defense Auburn threw at him. He was still pretty productive even though AU tried their best to take him out of the game.

The Broncos
confirmed receiver Eric Decker
will hit the free agent market, along with running back Knowshon Moreno, reports
ESPN.com. "I think they have to hit the market, the market sets those,
especially when you look where we are and what we have coming up," general
manager John Elway said.

Elway referred to the fact that Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas and Wes
Welker all are entering the final year of their contracts

Sounds like it's official. These two are hitting the market.

Nope:

NFL offenses are always looking for an edge. Sometimes that advantage is the scheme, and sometimes the advantage is purely a physical one. When you talk about physical advantage, Florida State wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin might be the definition of it.
“I really just want to make my own identity,” Benjamin said when asked during a press conference about his desired role in the NFL. “Be that player that a lot of these guys growing up want to be.”
Well, he certainly achieved that during the NFL Scouting Combine.
Benjamin impressed from the minute he arrived at the combine. Coming in at 6'5" and a chiseled 240 pounds, he casts an imposing shadow. Add 34.875" arms and 10.25" hands, and it is easy to understand why many consider him a first-round pick.

Benjamin would be a nice project but to me that is what he is...A project. He is not a great route runner, tries to catch with his body way too often leading to his high drop rate (something Bronco receivers seem to have as well), and doesn't use his height as often as he should or his speed as often as he should. In a few years yes I could see this guy being a very good receiver but he needs some major work and with Manning entering maybe his last year or two not sure we want to use our 1st round pick on a guy that doesn't fit well in a Manning lead offense. IF we draft him I won't be upset or anything because he is a good player that could turn into a great one for us just think there are other guys that could be available that can help day one to drastically improve this team.

He did run a 4.61 at the combine for the forty...not bad for a guy his size

Our drafts need to address life w/out Manning, more than addressing apparent immediate needs now. Denver is strong enough as a team whare they no longer NEED draftees to be opening day starters, and Benjamin could reap rewards down the road. Plus, I hear Manning is a great motivator for WR's to run good routes...ha!

I wouldn't overpay for this guy, but he could end up being an intreguing prospect.

I don't disagree with that. Right now for me it would depend how the draft board falls. There are a few players at 31 that I think would be available that I think offer both immediate help plus great production down the road when Manning is gone. Again too early in the process to completely know how things will fall. I do like Benjamin as he offers some things that Decker never did to this offense of a guy who is willing to fight for a jump ball and won't get pushed around like Decker did. He also offers up some more size for us at the receiver position as he is bigger than some TE's in the NFL right now so again he brings some great things. The drops and horrible route running concern me but the route running can definitely be fixed. Heck look at D. Thomas when he came here and how horrible his route running was. An off season with Manning and that was corrected quickly. I just worry about a rookie not only adjusting to life in the NFL but then having to learn a Manning lead offense and how productive they would be. Like you said the Broncos have to plan for the future as well. I just think there are players that can meet both the now and the future for us.

Yeah it really depends on what Denver does in this FA. If they are busy like I think cd and some others reported and they address some of the D needs, then drafting a WR with 31 wouldn`t be a bad thing. If they don`t hit some key FA guys, then I think at 31 you address D side or O tackle and then maybe you get a wr like Richardson ( who I actually think will be a great addition) as late as 3rd rd (if your lucky).

Moncreif is My favorite receiver right now followed by Devin Street (Broncos been talking to him quite a bit) Both have very good hands and both are very good route runners while also having some great size and fight for the ball. I think both should be there either the late 2nd or late 3rd round depending on how the draft board falls.

Right now the top 3 guys I am watching for the Broncos are Stephon Tuitt, Dee Ford, and Calvin Pryor. They all offer something different to the Broncos and I think immediately improve the defense plus give us a 10 year starter if they stay healthy.

Yeah a mock or two has Denver going Tuitt but if D.Ford was there,I like him better. Of course everybody and their brother would love Mack but since he`ll be long gone, if Denver were to go LB I like Shazier or Borland so far. Still watching so I might think dif later. Still wouldn`t mind a S like Ward or Pryor if their still on board either.

What part of that do you not like about him I guess?

I know that he has struggles against the run. At the same time he has shown he can add extra bulk as he goes along. Beyond that though the Broncos have great run stopping DE's in Jackson and Wolfe. What we lack is that 2nd edge rusher to keep teams honest against Von. Dee Ford has that elite 1st step that you are looking for and when he uses his hands is very good at applying pressure. Some extra coaching and some time working with NFL coaches and weight training specialist and I think this kid could be good for 10-15 sacks a season. He won't be an every down player for us right off the bat but he is one of those guys that can be a game changer with what he brings to the field.

I will admit 3 weeks ago I hated this kid and wanted nothing to do with him but now I have had a chance to watch some of his games and the guy just pops and makes those 1-2 plays every game that really change the whole tone of the game for them.

Honestly I doubt he lasts to us at this point with how much he is being talked up.

I was actually a bit concerned about the health of his back. Plus they say that he has never played an entire season in college. I suspect those issues would only be exacerbated in the NFL with bigger stronger guys knocking him around. One would wonder how he would hold up under those circumstances. He does indeed sound like a talented player though.

At 240, he is very undersized for a DE. That would be my major concern.

The Undersized and injury concerns are definitley a couple of red flags. I will say for the undersized part he registered at 252 at the combine which is pretty much what Dumervil weighs and is bigger than Matthis for the Colts. His first year I do think he will be a more situational type player which would help with injury concerns but I think with a couple of years working with NFL trainers he should be fine to possibly be a full time starter. He also seems like he is still growing which is why I think some of the injuries have happened and why I still think he could get up there in that 265 or so range which is still on the smaller size but big enough.

Now his injury history I agree that should definitely be of concern. Don't really know what to expect there honestly. I guess just have to trust the Denver Broncos that he is either ready or not. Can't deny though especially for the end of round 1 I don't know if there is a bigger playmaker the Broncos could draft that could dramatically change our team like that of Dee Ford. He reminds me so much of Von Miller in his reckless playing style and ability to really get OT's turned around not knowing if he is going to explode around the edge or all of a sudden cut inside using his long arms to keep OT's from getting into his body.
