As a Wings fan, I'm quite pleased with the Blackhawks maintaining the status quo in net. I realize Brodeur is a lot more expensive than the rotating shooter-tutors they currently use, and eats a lot more loaded chili fries than a folding chair, but I like him in New Jersey. Far far away from the Central.

Big-time over-payment. They should have just kept Hedberg ($1.5m for two?) and put some of that money towards the Parise fund.
