Exactly I see better than I hear! We know who said that and run blocking has sucked for years....

Our running game has sucked since 2004, when we had Corey Dillon and Big Willie......Since 2006, our best ranking in ypc has been 20th. That's not good run blocking.

That is very true.

Part of that is approach, though. With Palmer at QB, and then Gruden at OC, the Bengals became more of a pass-oriented team. Sometimes, you just need more dedication to certain aspects to be better at them.

I think Hue will have that reinforced. We'll see. I like the hire, and I think his dedication to run-blocking will show through better technique, and of course, having a new Center might help a ton at the point of attack too.

I don't know.... In 2009 we were VERY run oriented. Heck, we spent half the year using a tackle as a third tight end. Unfortunately we had shitty run blockers, an average-at-best tailback and the creativity of Bob Bratkowski. I agree that Gruden has been much more of a pass oriented play caller

If you credit the coach for the pass blocking, you should discredit him for (the lack of) run blocking.
