Reports out of Rams park is that Brian Quick will not be ready for the start of the season after a slow rehab process with his shoulder. When this injury occurred, I predicted his career was over, it doesn't look good for BQ. Maybe the Rams will surprise us all and take one of the top WR's at number 10 next month rather than an OL based on this news.

Sets up perfect really. Britt and Bailey on the edges, with Tavon in the slot.

Let's hope Bailey gets better at run blocking. :hope:

Yea, this may change things in the draft. We will still get O-lineman but who they take at 10 or if they trade down may change. BQ might be done if his shoulder is not recovering to the full in nearly a year.

Is there some new news? I saw yesterday that his rehab was "coming along" Fisher just wouldn't commit to him being ready by the start of training camp! that's totally different than ready for the season?

If this is true, it's not a good sign for his nfl future

.....I have had that tear. It's still hurts to this day and that was over 25 years ago.

Yeah I just heard he would miss Ota's but he was still shooting for training camp. I just read that today.

That really wouldn't be a surprise imo. If Cooper is there you have to take him even if Quick is 100%. He is a T Holt Cloan! And the best thing about him is he has a jerry Rice attitude. He wants to be the best.

It sounds like a terrible injury. I can't imagine then to play WR? Man. Just the Rams luck you could tell it was finally clicking with him

You might have something Cougar. We may just take one of the two if they are both there.

We'll be drafting BPA anywhere we end up in Round 1. If we stay at #10 that should be a WR. If we move down, it would either be OL or WR. Dorial Green-Beckham would be a target if we trade down and the OL's we want are gone.

Surgical procedures from then and now are totally different. Still, this would be termed a "bad" injury.

It's never a good sign when someone who got injured in October last year will not be ready a year later. Sucks, Quick was coming along.

The start of the season is training camp, not the regular season. It's a tough injury to recover from, but I doubt he misses any regular season games. He was really developing into that go to WR we have needed for years before he hurt himself. I look forward to seeing him, Britt and Cook down in the red zone this year.
