But Browner's not a power hitter anymore... IMO, he isn't as good as he once was... It was easier to have a bit of grace for his penalties but it seems like he's getting burnt like crazy, missing assignments, and not as fast in terms of downfield and pivot speed/agility, etc...
I honestly didn't watch enough of him last year to form an opinion. I guess we'll see. He's 31 though. It's not like we are trying to promote Darrell Green's quest to play into his mid-40s.

Eh, if his knee is healthy, he still has the speed to run with TE's. If the knee is still bad, he gets cut in pre-season.

yeah BB is only a shell of his former self when he played for the Hawks. He is slower than he was ( and he was never really fast ) he doesn't seem to hit people like he use to and people seem to get off the line from him clean a LOT more than they use to because of the lack of agility/quickness. I will be shocked if he makes the roster.

Isn't it at least possible the MCL injury he played through last year was the reason he appeared to have lost some speed? He said he sustained it in pre-season and came back before it was properly healed.
