Not shocking at all. From leader for Tomas to bailing out like chicken shit. Like your really going to sign him for his glove. But what can you really expect from a GM who is way in over his head. The blind leading the blind.

If they aren't going to sign anybody, can they at least purge Howard, Rollins, etc. and go young? Trade everybody worth anything for prospects and at least play for the future.

Infielder Chris Nelson R/R, 29, could make a contribution off the bench. He had a great 2012 with COL, .301/.352/.458, LHP/RHP .307, .299, but was replaced by Nolan Arenado at 3b after defensive concerns so they say. After the shock of being traded, he declined to .220 with yanks and angels in 2013, and '14 .233 with SD. Maybe he'll make an impression in ST. Another IF.
