I think it's a good addition for the Flyers. The Leafs got a very good return for Versteeg though. He's only been playing about 12 minutes per game.

Philly was already deep at forward. Now they're loaded. Who knows maybe Versteeg will replace Leino next year since Ville is an UFA after the season.

Good deal for the Flyers, 24 year old, signed next year and then a RFA. Now who sits Nodl, Zherdev or Shelley. I would assume Shelley but for you Flyer fans do you think they will waive Zherdev to free cap space for a veteran goalie for the cup run?

Very solid pick up, although I personally didn't want the Pens to nab him (something about us picking up Leafs...I guess Gill worked), this was a solid deal. Kinda surprised he cost a first though. Can I just say, that there are moments that I sincerely feel like Burke just likes trading? Sure, he has been proven to work, but he trades like none-other. Of course this happens when teams are rebuilding, but when you look at the trades he's made, they're just...jumbled. It just seems to me he has no real GOAL in all of this...but he just likes trading and getting people excited. JMO, and an uneducated one at that. I don't claim to know anything about the Leafs situation.
