Only problem I have with joining the pac 10 is the time difference.

Games at Washington, Oregon, and Oregon State will just blow, period. If we merge that conference, I foresee a Lubbok vacuum type of place.

Otherwise, bring it on. I want to play USC as much as possible and having Texas also, its 100% no doubt winner of that conference will play for a title. You beat two of these big three...OU, USC, Tex....watch out, if someone beats all three!! Yikes!

The scary part though is some years with a CCG you might have to beat, USC twice, or Tex twice or OU etc, etc.

I disagree.

Pac 16 will always have a major player in the scheme. The PAC 16 would represent the best talent in Cali and Texas. That is deadly and everyyear we will have a special team that will just win.

OU has a sweet recruiting pipeline out west in Cali and Las Vegas. If we move to the PAC 16, that pipeline will get much bigger.

Yes, I agree we have heard this before but think about it. With A&M leaving, that opens the door to whatever by whomever. OU and Texas are a package deal and I think a&m always thought it should be UT and a&m as the package deal.

Now that a&m is out of the way, the merge of Texas and OU into the pac 16 can be signed off and they take two little brothers that know their place.

People say that, but what they really mean is both UT and OU want to make sure they continue the rivalry. Easiest way to do that is end up in the same conference.

Well, if the PAC goes to 16, then so does the B1G and SEC.

KU will be taken by just about anyone for the BB program. Thats money.

Mizz might go with aTm to the SEC.

As for KSU and ISU and Baylor....WAC, conf USA...who cares really?

I wont say never but if the Big 12 splits like that the travel would wear a team out wouldnt it. Mid west to the coast even now and again would get pretty friggin old fast.

Of course it's a regional thing. Not sure why anybody would think otherwise. Why in the hell would OU, LSU, Bama, tOSU, etc fans give two shites about the LHN? I have always said the LHN is such a stupid idea and will be lucky to get 500K subscribers. It will be less than that since nobody is carrying the LHN. I can't even get my provider to get it.

The problem here is that the B1G wants schools that are AAU. Out of the Big 12; A&M, Texas, Kansas, Iowa State, and Missouri are the only ones that are AAU.
