Again which studs are you speaking of? Michigan State had one player drafted on the defensive side of the ball (two if you include Lippett who was drafted as a wide receiver). We only lost 4 players from defense and only two were of any consequence as the corners were repeatedly burned based on the coverage style they played.

Barnett has been with Dantonio/Narduzzi since 2004 so the defense is nothing new and I'm sure he feels just fine running the same system as Narduzzi does.
