I don't think schenn could get the value that the flyers would need for trading him to make sense.

potential top 6 winger (definition: an actual hockey player that plays outside of the middle and has no interest in playing in said middle. taking face offs is right out.)

I don't think schenn gets either of those.

On the plus side Berube is being consistent and not flipping Schenn around between wing and center. There are so many little holes in Brayden's game at wing that get covered at center. On the wing he has not learned how to use the boards as his friend both offensively and defensively. I really really want him to succeed. Having him and G and Cooter...and Laughton...that is foursome rolling...the one thing missing is a masher. A big physical center ala Primeau.

...Luke, well, that may call for a thread all his own.

Its been getting quiet on the B. Schenn bitching front. I doubt many people are looking to move him for another coveted 3rd pairing dman.

He is now on pace for 19-38-57 +13. I still say he will get over 20. Also, he is only 23!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree. He should get 20 no problem. He's showing signs of taking the next step.

Agreed and he's showing some great chemistry with Couts and Read. I hope that continues to develop.

The future is bright with Schenn, Couts, G, Jake, Simmonds and Raffl all under 27. Read is 28 and Frenchie 29. Add in Laughton and the young dmen in the system and we have the makings of a winner.

Nice to see Schenn finally doing something. I still don't think he's near consistent enough. He needs to win more battles and do less fumbling of the puck. Lately he's gotten a lot of breaks and I do think it has boosted his confidence significantly, which has led to better performance.

Pretty much agree with this - you need good breaks to gain some confidence but he still needs to get better
