Yes.

Not a burner, but very athletic and intelligent.
Edelman 2.0.
Younger, taller, faster.
They would be dangerous together with Gronk and Bennett.

3 QB's on the field at once...Run a flea flicker or two in preseason and defenses will be toast for the year.

Depends on where, esp for this team. Only 1 yr at WR in college. You see how difficult it is for players to come here and learn the system. Don't get me wrong, the kid is talented and is very shifty to get open, but not sure how his route running is. My question, how smart is he? You know how TB is for the team. I would rather have Will Fuller in the 3rd rd, than spending a 2nd rd pick on Miller, esp if you are looking for speed.

That right there is why I don't get the whole DA has to go. Makes no sense.

He doesn't have to go if he's willing to renegotiate his contract. Take a few less $ to stay with Brady and the Pats or go back to watching the playoffs from your couch.

Why should he have to take another pay cut? Pats offered him the contract. Deal with it!

I agree. He is the 2nd best WR on this team. Not TE, but WR. He has been here and knows the system. Should he be making more than JE11, no, but that is not his fault. Maybe make it up to him. Like I said, Cannon has no business on this team for the money he is making.

Times change. He's been overpaid since he arrived. He's had 6 TDs. Sorry it's a business thing. He finally had a good year last year. Don't get me wrong I like AD just not at $5 million + with the Pats current situation. By all means if it was just between him and Cannon? Cannon would definetely be gone.

I know it's a business. The Pats have no one to replace AD. Also, I find it ridiculous how fans want players like AD to take pay cut....then get pissed off when a player wants a pay raise. Gronk flat out should be demanding a new contract. Like you said, it's business.

Even in the business world if you don't perform, you don't get paid or risk losing your job. True they don't have another Amendola but they added Bennett and Washington. There are only so many balls to go around.

The Pats won't approach Amendola unless it's absolutely necessary. BB knows where his cap position is and what he needs to get back to the Super Bowl. He also knows where he can take a sharp knife and skin off an extra couple of dollars.
Below is the current salaries and cap hits for the Patriots. I can't get this to align so you'll have to figure it out .

Just remember this.....the above is a list of 70 players that the Patriots have under contract. That has to be cut to53 and only the top 51 count against the cap. The bottom 4 guys on the list account for $2M.

I agree with the fact that Danny is not a "must go", but as the highest paid WR, he is not the highest production WR.

I would really like to see him restructure.

Not saying he will fall to the Patriots and even if he does will BB do it
OMG that would be the biggest nightmare for the opposing defenses. Shit, I have thought what if Brax landed in that NE offense. He would be the perfect weapon for Brady. I hope he lands in the AFC unless my Eagles somehow miraculously got him in the 3rd round, which ain't happening. Just another toy for BB and Brady to have.

The draft could be very interesting for BB and the Pats this year. Pats have 10 picks still remaining. A number are comp picks that they can't trade. They have already addressed a lot of needs thru FA. Will need some cap $ for draft picks. Which leaves BB lots of options, trades, trading picks or a combination of the two?
Is it football season yet?

Cannon will perform better with Scar back.
Dola is a keeper - at less money. He is not worth the price tag at current price.
His value will be further depreciated by the fewer runbacks on kicks.....

Agreed, he likely gets less touches on offense this year with the addition of Bennett, Hogan and Washington. He's becoming less of a need and more of a nice to have. Renegotiate or say bye bye Danny. Maybe BB can package him with Cannon and get a solid DB or NT?

The O-line went 10-0 before injuries took their toll. Our O-line is not as bad as Pats fans want to make it.
Scar will make a big difference and Cannon will come back to form. Our linemen will be properly coached and playing in position. Rookies will have a year under their belts too. Keep Cannon.
