Your retarted
Meeting a real powerhouse in these Braves. And wouldn't you know it, looks like we'll be missing Eloy for a while, who suffered an abductor strain yesterday. What else is new.
Still scratching my head over what the Braves saw in Bummer to give up what they did. Maybe they thought there were getting the '19-'22 version and simply dismissed his gawd awful '23 season. Now it's possible that none of the 5 players received in exchange will ever amount to much. But just collectively they should way more than match whatever Bummer contributes to the Braves. BTW, he hasn't exactly got off to a killer start. He already has a loss in one of his two relief appearances.I'm looking for all the ex-braves to have a big days and for Bummer to come in and take an L.
Bummer has unusually good stuff, but he goes long periods - not knowing where his pitches are going. Statistically - hits off Bummer don't have much exit velocity - but with his strong spin on the balls - the fielders don't get a good read on where it's going.Still scratching my head over what the Braves saw in Bummer to give up what they did. I actually think he has decent control but he is afraid to throw the ball in the zone. Batters bail his ass regularly by chasing the slider down and away lefties and down and in to rightiesBummer has unusually good stuff, but he goes long periods - not knowing where his pitches are going. Hmmm - that's a valid view - kind of the opposite of the way I've been looking at it.I actually think he has decent control but he is afraid to throw the ball in the zone. Batters bail his ass regularly by chasing the slider down and away lefties and down and in to righties
I bet the Braves -1.5 run line.Sox get shutout in two of their 1st four games. Not a big stretch to say in the early going that our bats are not trending in the right direction.
Smell that? That's the smell of Victory! Sox win today and get off the snide.
That was my first impression. Our "ace" vs Reynaldo Lopez.
It's now or never boys.
vaughn was pathetic.Hats off to Crochet - Kopech - DeJong -and Vaughn. Grifol even made good managing calls. Go Sox!
He drove in what turned out to be the winning run.vaughn was pathetic.
