If we don't hit a home run tonight, it will set a new franchise record for most consecutive games without a home run.

We've gone 14 games without a homer thus far.

David Price got an at bat before he tossed a pitch.

This has to be the earliest in a season a team has had two losing streaks of 7 or more games.

We got 1 run back, but of course Stubbs strikes out with the bases loaded to kill the rally and Wisler is set to lead off in the second.

Freeman with the opposite field line drive single is a good sign though.

David Price has found a groove. Me thinks we missed our chance in the first.

How do you walk the opposing pitcher? How is that possible? Lob the damn thing over the plate and take your chances.

Ok, we may lose this game, but that was an incredible play by Daniel Castro. Sliding backwards, pops out of his glove, snags it with the bare hand, then fires to first for the double play.

Braves get another run back.

4-2 Red Sox.

Wisler with the sac fly to help himself.

And that run from the last inning was all for not. Wild pitch makes it 5-2 Red Sox.

It's bad guize. Real bad.

Really, couldn't get much worse. I guess that's a positive that surely we won't be THIS bad all season. It's not possible is it?

I'm trying to be optimistic here, but last season we were in the hunt and hovering around .500 right up until the All Star Break, then we were absolutely anemic afterwards. Maybe the opposite will come true afterwards.

How do 3 guys strike out LOOKING in the same inning. I understand strike 3 on Francouer and Flowers were questionable, but you have to realize who the umpire is.

over/under on wins this year .... 50? 60?

I still feel confident we'll be better than last season.

Freeman won't hit around .200 for long, Inciarte will be back, and if Aybar doesn't pick it up, Daniel Castro will be playing short stop every day.

From the first week of the season until now, our bullpen has improved greatly, and Williams Perez has already lost his rotation spot, and Bud Norris will likely be next.

6-2 Red Sox.

If there's any bright spot, Xander Bogaerts is on my fantasy team.

I mean, these first 20 games, if anything could possibly go wrong, it has went wrong.

It's rare that Freddie Freeman goes 15 games without a home run himself. The ENTIRE TEAM hasn't hit a home run in 15 games(tonight still pending, but you know what I mean). That's just a fucky streak that won't be the norm. Last season we had the fewest homers in the Majors with 100 on the dot. We're on pace for less than 30 as a team at this pace, and in this day and age, that just isn't possible.

And also keep in mind, that April is by far our toughest month of the season opponents wise.

Things look shitty, and by no means do I think we'll have a great season. 70 wins is definitely our ceiling IMO, but we won't be a historically bad team come season's end, even if we have a historically bad April.

But shit like that does piss me off. David Price has struck out 5 guys in the last 2 innings. All of them looking, Swing the damn bat boys, you're down by 4 runs.

14 strikeouts for Price. 8 of the last 9 have struck out. I don't think we even fouled one off the last inning.

I said last night that he'd strike out 20, I'd say tying a career high is close enough.
